Mardi Bras Spokane

Proceeds from Mardi Bras 2023 benefit the VOA Hope House and Transitions' Women's Hearth. Together they provide wrap-around services for women experiencing homelessness, beginning in the day with the Women's Hearth drop-in center and ending in the evening with shelter at the Hope House Women's Center. There are more than 500 women experiencing homelessness in Spokane each day. Meeting their basic needs can be a struggle for Hope House, a program of Volunteers of America, and Transitions' Women's Hearth. Spokane Mardi Bras aims to change that. You can help: Online Host! Have an online Mardi Bras party and invite friends...

Annual Campaign

Volunteers of America Eastern Washington (VOA) has partnered with local restaurants for their 2nd Annual ‘Give & Gather’ event starting Monday, April 22nd through Friday, April 26th. The purpose of this event is not only to promote local businesses, but also to raise awareness about the work of VOA in providing shelter and front door keys to those in need. Whether it is $10 to purchase a bus pass for someone to get to a job interview or $500 to give the gift of education to a homeless...

I Remember Mama

For over 20 years, Volunteers of America Eastern Washington has provided lunch to over 100 women, in low-income housing, who would otherwise be spending this special day alone. If you would like to make this gift in honor of your mother, Grandmother, or other special “Mama” in your life, we will send them a Mother’s Day card. Many of them look forward to this lunch as the only time...
