Billing Practices
Patient consents to Volunteers of America Eastern Washington submitting billing for services rendered to the proper insurance company for claim adjudication and payment.
Patients covered by the state’s Medicaid program will not be subject to advance payment, balance billing, refunds, or monetary exchange of any kind. All financial transactions will be handled by Volunteers of America Eastern Washington and the corresponding Medicaid Managed Care Organization.
Patients covered by private insurance plans are subject to advance payment in the form of co-pays and/or co-insurance, as well as patient responsibility after claims have been adjudicated.
