Same Dress Spokane

Photography for A Cause

“Same Dress Spokane highlights local photographers who donate their time and talents to the annual challenge. Partnering with the Hope House brings awareness to an amazing worthy cause.”

Rachel Fellows, Same Dress Spokane

How It Works

Throughout the summer and into the fall, one dress will travel from photographer to photographer. Each artist is given one week to create their own unique interpretation using a model of their choice.

The result? A powerful collection of wildly different perspectives, all sparked by the very same dress.

This project is about more than photography.

VOA is proud to be the chosen partner of Same Dress Spokane this year, with all proceeds raised going to our Hope House Respite Center. Every image shared, every conversation started, and every donation made helps support our program for women experiencing homelessness.

VOA’s Hope House Respite Center

A pathway from homelessness to housed

Hope House Respite Center provides short-term medical recuperative care for women experiencing homelessness who are recovering from illness, injury, or hospitalization.

It offers a safe, supportive environment where participants can heal physically, stabilize emotionally, and regain the strength needed for their next steps toward stability and independence.

Follow on Social Media

Follow along on social media each week as new photographers capture their vision and watch how one simple dress transforms through the eyes of Spokane’s creative community. The dress is a secret for now, but we can’t wait to unveil it when the time is right!
