The Christmas Bureau is an annual holiday assistance program coordinated by Catholic Charities Eastern Washington, Volunteers of America, and the Spokesman-Review. Proceeds from Mardi Bras 2023 benefit the VOA Hope House and Transitions' Women's Hearth. Together they provide wrap-around services for those experiencing homelessness, beginning in the day with the Women's Hearth drop-in center and ending in the evening with shelter at the Hope House Women's Center. Volunteers of America Eastern Washington (VOA) has partnered with local restaurants for their 2nd Annual ‘Give & Gather’ event starting Monday, April 22nd through Friday, April 26th. During the week-long promotion, each participating restaurant will donate a portion of their proceeds to VOA. The purpose of this event is not only to promote local businesses, but also to raise awareness about the work of VOA in providing shelter and front door keys to those in need.
