Program Helping the Homeless Get Home
Volunteers of America runs shelters for youth, women and veterans in Spokane, including Crosswalk Youth Shelter and Hope House.
Every meal matters. Especially when it comes to supporting those experiencing homelessness in our community.
Helping women in need in Spokane this spring is simple with a handful of locations to drop off hygiene products for the annual Mardi Bras fundraiser.
2024
–As the first set of below-freezing temperatures roll through the region, the City of Spokane will open access to the regional shelter systems and city library locations.
The Crosswalk Youth Center has been helping kids for more than 30 years. But the facility is dated, still using ‘Murphy Beds’ that fold down from the walls.
United HealthCare is donating over $200,000 to address those needs in our community. $150,000 will be coming to Volunteers of America of Eastern Washington.
