InReach: Meeting Youth Where They Are, Empowering Them to Thrive
InReach is a lifeline for unaccompanied young people in Spokane County who are facing homelessness or housing instability. Designed to support youth ages 12-24, InReach provides mobile, flexible, and personalized services that meet young people wherever they are, both physically and emotionally.
Whether reaching youth in schools, helping those transitioning out of systems like child welfare or juvenile justice, or connecting with individuals who have slipped through the cracks, InReach offers a compassionate connection and a clear path forward. With case managers who adapt to each youth’s unique needs—whether in-person, over the phone, through text, virtually, or via social media—InReach fosters trust and accessibility at every step.
A Youth-Centered Approach
At Volunteers of America, we empower young people to take the lead in their journeys. InReach operates under a Positive Youth Development framework, recognizing that youth are the true experts of their lives. Young people define their goals and what success means to them, while our dedicated case managers provide guidance, resources, and unwavering support to help them achieve their dreams.
This collaborative approach places youth at the heart of every decision, creating individualized care plans tailored to their unique aspirations and challenges.
